12-Hour Restorative Decompression Therapy — Work Smarter, Not Harder
This hands-on continuing education class is designed for massage therapists who want to get better results while putting less wear and tear on their own bodies.
Restorative Decompression Therapy is not a single technique or cookie-cutter protocol. It is a clinical decision-making approach: identify the client’s goal, assess what the body is presenting, and choose the most effective tool or technique for that individual.
During this 12-hour class, we explore how to combine decompression, dynamic cupping, myofascial techniques, neuromuscular work, stretching, movement, positioning, and traditional hands-on massage to address common pain and mobility complaints.
You'll learn how to:
Work with the body instead of simply applying more pressure
Use decompression and dynamic cupping to reduce workload on your hands and joints
Choose techniques based on the client's goal and tissue response
Address common shoulder, neck, back, hip, and extremity complaints
Incorporate movement and stretching into treatment
Modify techniques for different bodies, sensitivities, and tolerance levels
Build effective sessions without relying on a memorized routine
Protect your own body and increase career longevity
This is a hands-on, practical class built around problem-solving rather than paint-by-numbers massage. You'll leave with techniques you can immediately incorporate into your existing practice.
12 Continuing Education Hours
Tuition: $295
Small class sizes allow plenty of hands-on practice, individual instruction, and questions.
Bring your curiosity. Leave with more options. Work smarter—not harder.
